The Watershed Spotlight: Shrink Sleeves

Last week in our Watershed Spotlight we gave you an insight into Flexible Packaging division. This week we are shining the spotlight on a different aspect of our business and today we will be giving you a brief insight into our Shrink Sleeves division.

Since our formation 28 years ago, Watershed Packaging has become one of the prominent suppliers of Flexible Printed Packaging. Producing Flexible Packaging such as Shrink Sleeves, Flexible Packaging, Die Cut Lids, Labels and Printed Tape. We also sell end of line Packaging Machinery. In 2012 we launched our Shrink Sleeves division enabling us to supply Shrink Sleeve Labels and Shrink Sleeve Machinery worldwide!

Why choose Shrink Sleeves for your outer Packaging?
We have seen phenomenal growth in the usage of Shrink Sleeves in the UK around the world and as part of our business. Shrink Sleeves enable greater marketing by allowing 360° of print. We understand that many of our customers products will appear on shelves in Supermarkets, DIY Shops, Petrol Stations and at major outlets throughout the country and around the world. So, for this reason we work exceptionally hard to ensure your Shrink Sleeve design is printed in the highest quality. Shrink Sleeves may also be known as Bottle Sleeve Labels, Bottle Shrink Sleeves and Bottle Shrink Wrap Sleeves this is because typically, Sleeves are used on bottle containers, but they can be applied to almost any container.

What types of Shrink Sleeve do Watershed Packaging supply?
Watershed Packaging prints high definition full colour Shrink Sleeve Labels with specialist finishing and application to fit practically any bottle or container. We supply both UV Flexo and Offset Litho printed Sleeves to ensure the best print results and competitive pricing for all projects from start-ups to long run requirements. Our printed Shrink Sleeves offer the opportunity for both 360-degree graphics and ‘top to toe’ decoration of a product container.

• Decorative Sleeves

Decorative Sleeves can be applied to almost any shape of container which offers a real freedom to a brand from a design perspective. They can be applied on the total of the container as a full body Shrink Sleeve or on part of it as a partial body Sleeve.
 

• Tamper Evident Sleeves

Watershed’s Tamper Evident Sleeves help protect your customers, your brand, and your reputation by providing a tight seal over the closure of a bottle or container. They are available from Watershed Packaging as either cut Sleeves or supplied in reel form for automated application. They can be applied individually or in combination with a full body application. Tamper Evident Sleeves can either be printed or supplied as a lower cost plain Sleeve option.
 

• Promotional Sleeves

Watersheds Promotional Shrink Sleeves are a great way to hold multiple items together for added point of sale appeal. Appeal to consumers and increase sales by offering additional sample products or with a ‘buy one, get one free’ promotion. Promotional Shrink Sleeves can be printed or unprinted and are also supplied as cut singles from Watershed Packaging. They can be applied on two or more products to indicate an offer or a special promotional launch.
 

Contract Sleeving
In addition to being a Shrink Sleeves supplier and Sleeve Machinery supplier, we also provide a contract sleeving service. We can print and apply your Sleeves onto any container or bottle that you provide, or we can source the bottles for you. We apply Sleeves with our automatic Shrink Sleeve machine onto bottles/containers in-house at our Leeds production facility. The Sleeves can be applied individually or in combination with a fully body application. The basic information that we need to know to start your project is the amount of bottles, bottle type and bottle material, our team will handle the rest and get back to you with a competitive quote.
