Our managEment Team

Anna Wood

Job Title: Group Director

Anna’s role in short is to identify new business opportunities and build and maintain good relations with important customers and monitor the project status. Considering we are a small family run business, Anna also has monthly check in’s with the customer service teams so check in on them and advise of any updates that we can get to the customers to improve our service. Anna has worked for Watershed since 2001 starting out in a subsidiary in Tunbridge Wells and ending up in Leeds.

Outside Watershed:

Anna enjoys playing hockey and watching and supporting all women’s sports. Her happy place would be on a beach in Portugal with her family. Anna loves food and has a passion for cooking outdoors – her favourite restaurants in Leeds are Lupe’s Cantina and Zucco.

Katy Blyth

Job Title: Operations Manager

Katy supervises all production at Watershed. She oversees personnel and machinery and also advises on purchasing and planning. It is down to Katy to make sure everything is running smoothly on the production floor. Katy has been with Watershed since 2014.

Outside Watershed:

From September- March, Katy coaches 2 Hockey teams – Ladies & Juniors. Katy loves to travel and would love to visit all major European cities via train but all the while missing her beloved 2 year old tom cat, Augustus. Katy is currently learning to play the piano.

If Katy wasn’t working at Watershed, her dream job would be a Navy Officer. 

Best thing about Watershed? The People. Also the idea sharing and shared knowledge that all members of staff amalgamate.

Claire Harrison

Job Title: Purchase Manager

Claire purchases just about everything for Watershed from toilet rolls and stationary to machines and substrates across both sites. She monitors invoices and re-routes to accounts with all relevant purchase details. Claire has been at Watershed since 2009.

Outside Watershed:

Claire loves to go on caravan holidays with her husband and Yorkipoo, Jasper. Ever since childhood, Claire has had a love for matching outfits and accessories. Even at age 4 she would paint her jewellery with nail varnish to match other items! This can be very troublesome when packing for a holiday ! Claire’s dream day off would be a girly day in York with some bottomless brunch combined with the momentous feeling of having absolutely nothing to do.

Dave Ward

Job Title: Warehouse Manager

Dave was appointed in early 2022 to be our Warehouse Manager, he supervises deliveries of goods into the warehouse and ensures products are accounted for, are stored safely and securely, and are despatched efficiently to our customers whilst overseeing the warehouse staff. Dave also deals in the imports and exports procedures and documents for us to send our products all around the world.

Outside Watershed: Dave is an avid angler and competes in fishing tournaments representing the UK. Dave also enjoys amateur upcycling and has even made a pizza oven out of an salvaged materials , even an old print table from our factory! Dave’s dream day off would be to go sight fishing in the Caribbean and try and catch the elusive bonefish.

Michael Warden

Job Title: Print Production Manager

Michael is responsible for overseeing print production and performs various quality checks and sign offs whilst we are in the manufacturing process. Michael is responsible for ensuring all the machines are running to the best of their abilities considering materials, staff changes and training and keeping downtime to a minimum whilst striving for continuous improvements within manufacturing. Michael started in 2015 as a Press operator and has accomplished a lot in this time.

Outside Watershed:

Michael has recently moved into a new house with his family and has taken on quite a lot with home improvements and is now quite the handyman, knocking down walls and fitting kitchens.

If Michael had a superpower it would be to be able to speak and understand any language.

Best thing about Watershed?

The people. It’s a very family orientated place to work and we are all friends.

Natasha Young

Job Title: Customer Service Manager

Natasha has been with Watershed since 2013. Natasha oversees the customer service team and ensures all orders put on the system are commercially acceptable whether this be crosschecking purchasing and studio involvement all the way to warehouse and accounts. Natasha runs many reports that help to recognise patterns and present figures to help us grow and do better face on and behind the scenes.

Outside Watershed:

Natasha is a big live music fan and has seen bands such as Arctic Monkeys, The Cribs and The Strokes to name a few. Spending time with friends and family mean a lot to Natasha and she has been doing this a lot more since she became a first time mother in 2023!

If Natasha wasn’t working at Watershed, her dream job would be a Fashion Buyer.

Best thing about Watershed?

The team spirit. There is a great balance between having fun and getting on with work.

Martin Johnson

Job Title: Technical Manager

Martin has 30 years of experience in print and 40 years in technical so brings a vast knowledge to his role which includes technical support for the staff and customers alike. Printing tech, material specification, legalisation and new product development are just a few examples of where Martin lends his on-hand expertise at Watershed.

Outside Watershed:

Martin is an avid Hifi Healer and loves to repair and modify old stereos and speakers and loves to get to the bottom of broken or blown equipment and bring it back to life. If he wasn’t working at Watershed, he would love to own a high end Hi-Fi retail shop and get paid for his passion. Second to electronics repairs, Martin loves nothing more than chilling out in his home cinema converted garage. With a huge screen projector, Dolby Atmos sound, recliner seats and arcade machines, he needs nothing more than those four walls…… apart from maybe his beloved chihuahua, Coco Chanel.

Sophie Bullen-Brown

Job Title: Quality Manager

Sophie’s roles within Watershed are very varied. She is responsible for all documentation and monitoring of all internal paperwork and safe contractor accreditations for our engineers. She also manages all internal and external quality and general complaints.

Watershed Packaging was her first official job and she has worked here since 1998.

Outside Watershed:

Sophie’s brother in law is a classic mini racing driver and both Sophie and her husband attend racing events all around the country in their motorhome. If Sophie wasn’t working at Watershed she would love to be a HGV Driver so she could be King of the road.

Paul High

Job Title: General Manager

Working across all departments to clarify strategy, Paul strives to remove barriers and allow people to play to their strengths - all with the ultimate goal of growing Watershed Packaging as a business. Paul has been with Watershed since 2016.

Outside Watershed:

Paul loves the outdoors. His hobbies include running , cycling, hiking, camping and any sports. In 2024, Paul completed an Ultramarathon (coming 60th out of 1500 ), taking on 70 miles in a day which is the equivalent of almost 3 consecutive marathons, fundraising for teenage cancer trust. If he wasn’t working at Watershed, he would love to manage the England cricket team, following the sun around the world!
