At Watershed, we specialise in printing PET polyester and fully recyclable aluminium foil Die Cut Lids. Our die-cut lid options come in a variety of different thicknesses and sealing layers suitable for use across many different industries, including food & beverage, pharmaceuticals, toiletries and cosmetics, etc.
Our in-house capability allows us to print in up to 10 colours. Innovative SMART embosser™ technology will enable us to deep emboss without distorting your design, providing an all-inclusive solution for our clients.
Our production facility encompasses world-leading, high-performance flat-bed die-cutting presses and the world’s first fully automatic handling system to ensure minimal contact with the Aluminium or Polyester material, allowing us to deliver exceptional quality on time.

Aluminium lids
Our Aluminum Die-Cut Lids are available in customised thicknesses, sealing layers, and barrier properties to suit a wide range of applications. They offer a reliable and sustainable choice for preserving quality, integrity and product longevity.
Benefits include a total barrier to oxygen and water vapour transmission, allowing more flexibility in the sealing process. These lids are ideal for sealing containers of yoghurt, milk, cheese, water, juice, beverages, coffee, cosmetics, and more.
All our Aluminium Lids are fully recyclable.
polyester (pet) lids
Our Polyester (PET) Die Cut Lids are available in 50-micron thicknesses with a heat seal lacquer or co-extruded sealing layer to suit a wide range of substrates.
Benefits include high puncture and tear resistance to withstand handling and distribution, ensuring your products remain intact and secure, high-quality printing, allowing your branding and product information to stand out amongst the cometpition and the ability to be metal detected, ensuring high-quality standards.
Smart embossing
Our SMART embosser™ system enables us to provide aluminium foil Lids without distorting or compromising our customer’s bespoke designs with traditional all-over embossing patterns, thus enhancing print quality and branding. The SMART embosser™ only embosses the rim of the Lid, leaving the graphics unaffected.
PRINT inspect ™: Our new inline print inspection before the cutting process gives 100% inspection and automatic removal of any print defects before packing, guaranteeing zero defects being delivered to the customer. Our 100% print and surface inspection system, anti-static equipment and web scrap system increase our efficiency and productivity.

Achieving the ZERO FOIL 2 Landfill certification demonstrates a firm commitment to sustainability. We ensure that every lid produced is managed responsibly after use and is recycled rather than sent to landfill.
